Welcome to Knit 1 Tea 1

Hello and welcome to the home of Knit 1 Tea 1 from the West coast of Canada.

You are in the right place if you would like a ‘welcome break from the daily stuff into a bit of peaceful paradise’ Jayne Lipbalm

If you are seeking inspiration, then get the kettle on, make a cup of tea, sit down and have a look around. I find beauty everywhere and I love sharing it.

‘Pin it’ is available on all my blog photos, so if you see something you like, something which inspires you, then hover over and pin that photo.

‘I love the way you make the everyday things seem so beautiful’ Sarah Lois

Knitting

Do you love to knit? Check out my knitting posts, and if you live in Vancouver and would like to meet fellow knitters, then join my Knit 1 Tea 1 meet-up group, we meet most weekends, join here.

Would you like to learn to knit? Or have you always wanted to learn how to knit socks, or your first sweater? If you live in the Vancouver area then I can help you out. I offer private or group knitting lessons in the evenings and weekend. Please get in contact if you would like to know more.

Food, glorious food

Do you like talking about food? I can easily spend hours chatting with friends about food alone! After living in Sri Lanka for eight years, I absolutely love spices; chilli and cinnamon being two of my favourites. Recently I’ve had to adopt a gluten, dairy and egg free diet which means I’ve had to find a whole new collection of recipes, challenging but fun! I love sharing what I’ve been eating and you can find my collection of recipes here.
